Ruah Woods was implemented in 2025 in all schools in the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois at all grade levels. The program is a supplement to the Religion curriculum and is based on Pope St. John Paul II’s, Theology of the Body. Parents may preview the materials by messaging Religion teachers or accessing the Ruah Woods website. If you would like to view the materials, they will be sent home with your student upon request and as available. In grades K-5 there are 9 lessons with the program. The middle schools grades 6-8 have much more content and interact with the content regularly.
