Lunch Program, Milk Tickets, & More

LUNCH PROGRAM

In an effort to provide new and better lunch options for our students, we have had to make some changes to the lunch ordering process. Our new lunch vendor for Monday-Thursday will be Nicky G's Italian Eats in Brighton and we are excited about what they have to offer - the new lunch menu and pricing can be viewed in the family portal. However, this year we will need students' lunch orders in a week in advance and parents will be responsible for placing these orders in the family portal. All lunch orders will need to be placed by the end of the day on Thursday for the upcoming week. For example, this week we would need orders placed by Thursday the 13th for the first week of school. Important reminders:

  • Only order ONE item for each student - either a single or a double. If a student wants a double entree you do NOT have to order both, just the double.
  • If you place an order and your student is absent the day of, we will only be able to refund the lunch if we are able to give it to another student that forgot to order.
  • There will be emergency lunch items available at cost if a student has not ordered lunch and there are no extras available.
  • We will order a certain number of extras each day but these will be limited.
  • Fridays will still be pizza from Little Caesar's, you will place those orders in the family portal in advance as well, but I will be able to edit those orders the morning of if need be.


We understand that this will be a learning process for everyone and I will be trying to make it as easy as possible for all parties. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to the school office.

MILK TICKETS

Milk will be available for your children at lunch time if they would like it. Milk is paid for at the beginning of the year, either $40 for the full year or $25 for the first semester with the option of continuing come second semester. 


A form will go home on the first day of school for purchasing milk and you will choose either white or chocolate. Please return the form to the School Office with payment.


Milk can only be purchased by the year or semester, not on a daily basis. During the first week, if your children tell us they will be buying milk it will be given to them, so that they can start on the first day before forms have been returned.
