Stand with St. Ambrose: Fall 40 Days for Life Campaign

Building on the incredible faithfulness of our St. Ambrose prayer partners during our spring outreach, we are ready to unite once again for the international Fall 40 Days for Life Campaign, running from September 23 through November 1, 2026.

While parishioners are encouraged to pray throughout the campaign, our parish has adopted a specific day for focused coverage. St. Ambrose Day is Wednesday, October 28, and we want to fill the sidewalk with a peaceful, prayerful presence on this special day. By standing witness outside the Hope Clinic in Granite City, we show mothers in crisis, clinic staff, and our wider community that every unborn child is loved and worth protecting.

How You Can Participate

We are looking for prayer partners to commit to at least one hour of peaceful prayer, especially on our adopted parish day. Whether you can join us on the sidewalk at the clinic or need to support the mission through dedicated prayer and fasting from home, your sacrifice matters.

• Sign Up for a Vigil Hour: Click the button to reserve one of our hour-long prayer spots. Keeping our parish coverage strong on October 28 is vital to this mission.
• Spread the Word: Keep an eye out for our 40 Days for Life banner—hung courtesy of Deacon Jay—and review the bulletin updates provided by Mel Bechtold.
• Pray from the Pews: Join Fr. Steve in holding this campaign up in prayer during our weekly Mass petitions.
