KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
Council 7804, Godfrey Knights of Columbus and the Fourth Degree, Assembly 1952 support St. Ambrose parish. This fraternal organization of men is dedicated to the cause of charity, fraternity, unity and patriotism. By charter, they are self-proclaimed to be the "right arm of the Church." Only practicing Catholic men in good standing with the church qualify for membership.
NOTABLE ACHIEVMENTS
- Over 2.1 Million members around the world, 17,000 Councils.
- There were 47 Million Hours of volunteer service by Brother Knights and their families
- Over $190 million donated to those in need.
- Knights have now donated over $100 million to men and women discerning vocations to Priesthood and religious life through then RSVP Program.
- in 2023 Donated 5.3 Million to Disaster Relief Including Hurricane Ian response, deadliest storm to hit Florida in a century, and Hurricane Fiona (Canada) most destructive in Canadian history.
- In past 20 years Donated 127,000 Wheel Chairs
- Helped Priests and seminarians with over $3.7 Million in scholarships and support.
- Last 5 years Donated $21 Million to Special Olympics
- Started in 2009, in 2023 have Donated 1 Million Coats, through the Coats for Kids Program.
- 50 new ultrasound machines donated and support given to 1,267 life affirming resource centers. (over 2000 donated to date)
- Over 7.7 million pounds of supplies to over 1.6 million people in the Ukraine.
- Since 2014 over $33 Million donated to help vulnerable Christians build for their future.
- Each year over 100 wounded warriors embark on a trip to Lourdes for physical and spiritual healing.
- In Last 5 years Knights have donated over $5 Million to Special Olympics. $170,000 donated as result of the Polar Plunge in 2023.
