Dear Parishioners and Friends,

Today is the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord.  A link to the video of Mass in our Chapel is attached.  I am grateful to Deacon Jay who was my “congregation”.  Even the “Mass without a Congregation” is supposed to have at least one “assisting” minister.

If you couldn’t pray the Lord’s Prayer with Pope Francis and others throughout the world at 6:00 a.m. today (OUR time, noon in Rome), you are encouraged to pray it at noon today.  Pope Francis invites all Christians to join him in prayer on Friday, March 27 at NOON (our time, 6:00 p.m. in Rome) for a prayer service and blessing.  I’m sure this will be live streamed

on Facebook

and on the Vatican website

Many religious publishers are offering free downloads for those who are quarantined or sheltering in place.  You are welcome to download three of these resources from  Just click on “FREEBIES” in the left-hand column and you’ll find

100 Favorite Catholic Prayers, How to Read the Parables, and Understanding the Kingdom of God.  I will also attach the PDFs of these booklets to this update.

Finally, I’d like to conclude this update with a prayer from PAX CHRISTI USA:

God bless you!

May our Blessed Mother

intercede on our behalf

for healing from this
