St. Ambrose Catholic School
The mission of St. Ambrose School is to nurture and facilitate the growth of its children through an integrated program of faith development and academics. This is carried out daily for the approximately 34 Pre-K for three and four year olds and 220 students attending the K—8 program at St. Ambrose.

The core curriculum includes religion, English, reading, mathematics, social studies and science. The core subjects are supplemented with formal classes in Spanish, computer literacy, health and fitness. In addition, students have the option of participating in extra-curriculars including Computer Club and sports.

A number of services are provided by the school or local agencies for children wishing to make use of them. A group of "grandparents" come to school to give primary students opportunities to practice oral reading. Before school care begins at 6:30 AM and after school care is provided until 6:00 PM. The D.A.R.E. program is provided to instruct children in drug awareness.

The cost of education at St. Ambrose School for the 2007-2008 school year includes tuition and a supply fee. Parishioner families with one child attending pay $2,530 in tuition. Parishioner families with two children attending pay $4,050. Parishioner families with three children attending pay $4,250; Parishioner families with four children attending pay $4,450. Each child pays a supply fee of $150. Non-parishioner families pay $3,800 tuition for one child, $5,000 for two children and $5,200 for three children. Tuition payments paid in full by August are subject to a 2% discount, semi-annual payments are subject to a 1% discount and monthly payments are made by way of F.A.C.T.S. automatic-withdrawal plan. Financial assistance may be available to those who request and qualify for such assistance
