 Liturgy of the Word for Children
Liturgy of the Word for children is a wonderful opportunity for the children of St. Ambrose Parish, grades 1—4, to hear and understand the Word of God simplified in words they can understand. Children in kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to leave mass before the first reading and return to mass during the collection.
The youth go over to the Community Center after they leave the church. Children hear God’s Word with far greater meaning when its proclamation and explanation are designed especially for them. Just prior to the Liturgy of the Eucharist, the children rejoin their parents to celebrate the Eucharist together
