CONSULTATIVE BODIES
Pastoral Council
The parish Pastoral Council is consultative to the pastor and to the pastoral staff in pastoral planning and in responding to the pastoral needs of the parish. The council concerns itself primarily with "heart and soul matters", that is, those aspects of parish-life which support wholeness and members of the parish community. The Pastoral Council assists in establishing priorities and goals for the parish, promotes ongoing dialogue between the pastor and his staff and parishioners and various parish organizations. As a praying community the Pastoral Council provides the example to lead the entire parish to a fuller life of prayer. Representative of all the parishioners, the Pastoral Council provides leadership, direction, motivation and encouragement for ongoing parish planning in consort with the deanery, the diocese and the Universal Church.

Finance Council
The parish Finance Council is consultative to the pastor in his role as fiscal manager of the parish. This council concerns itself with the temporal and fiscal matters of the parish. It assists the pastor in the process of financial budgeting and reporting, in fund-raising and stewardship efforts and in the financial management of the parish. Trustees are Ex Officio members of the Finance Council. In addition, several parishioners are appointed according to their expertise in finances and management.

School Board
The School Board is consultative to the pastor in his role as manager of the school. The council concerns itself with the formation of policy and in all policy level decisions. They advise the principal in the implementation of policy.
