Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

RCIA is the process of introducing interested persons gradually into the Catholic Church. In the Christian Initiation of Adults we are concerned with the total formation of the person into believing, living, praying and serving with the Church community. This happens gradually through the periods of Inquiry, Catechumenate, Enlightenment with Initiation at the Easter Vigil and Mystogogia. This year long process is faith formation into a community of believers in Jesus Christ along with doctrinal formation. Team members, sponsors, and ministers of hospitality are of vital importance.

St. Ambrose Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry Program of St. Ambrose works to foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person and it seeks to draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission and work of the faith community. Members of the group are challenged to be examples of Christ in their everyday lives. Participants in the Youth Group take part in various spiritual, social, and service oriented gatherings within the Parish and throughout the community, the diocese, and the country. The Program consists of ministry to, with, by and for youth and it incorporates seven distinct aspects of youth ministry work. Word, Worship, Creating Community, Guidance and Healing, Justice and Service, Enablement or Empowerment, and Advocacy.
